We were very kindly gifted some lovely products from Emmas Diary & Families UK on behalf of the wonderful Childs Farm!
I’ve used Childs Farm for a couple of years now as I found Alden’s skin would react to anything that wasn’t natural or kind to baby skin. Im so pleased another Mum on instagram pointed me in the direction of Childs Farm – we’ve been using their fun bubble baths and hair & Body washes for some time now – FYI they all smell amazing – and as a self confessed graphic nerd I LOVE LOVE LOVE the packaging!
The items we were sent were part of the Childs Farm Baby range, I wish I’d found this full range sooner! First I’ll show and tell you what was in this exciting little package and then tell you our own personal experience and review of them
Whats in the Box?
The items arrived in this super cute little suitcase, inside there was a Baby Wash, a Baby Bedtime Bubbles, a Baby Moisturiser, a Baby Nappy Cream and a cute little bath thermometer – which comes in so handy!
Testing… and our routine!
We tested theses for a few weeks so I could get a good feel for the product, find out if there is anything we didn’t like, or loved – if you’ve followed our adventures for a while you’ll know I only like to participate/accept things that I’d genuinely use or already use that way I can give an honest review and recommendation!
I’d start my littles ones bath and pour in a generous amount of the baby bedtime bubbles, the bathroom smelt amazing and they make some great bubbles that Alden enjoyed! I’d wash him with the baby wash, and I found that unlike others this didnt seem to leave his skin feeling dry and cleaned and cleansed his skin so nicely. We followed with the baby moisturiser and the nappy cream once he was out and dry!
Final thoughts
We used the products for a couple of weeks and I couldn’t be happier – Ive noticed Alden’s skin feels a lot more clean, cleansed, fresh, and moisturised with these products. I have used the baby moisturiser for a while after he got some irritation from his previous wash – which I mentioned earlier this is when we made the switch – its my favourite moisturiser that I even often use myself! It’s not sticky or leaves a horrible uncomfortable residue for Alden. It’s light and smells so fresh!
The nappy cream has aloe vera, shea and cocoa butter in and I found it didn’t ‘clag’ (is that just a northern word – is that how it’s spelt? Who knows?) and kept his skin fresh and free from irritation at changes.
All in all I love all the Childs Farm products I’ve used and regularly rave about them to other mums over on our Instagram, these have just become something else to tell any new mums I know – as they’re suitable for newborn and upwards. I’d definitely recommend them. They’re all dermatologically and paediatrician approved – suitable for sensitive and eczema prone skin. Not only this they contain naturally derived ingredients and are fragranced using organic essential oils – AND they’re cruelty free and Vegan! Talk about ticking ALLLLL the boxes!! The baby moisturiser has even been hailed a miracle cream for helping soothe so many skins issues – you’ve probably seen it go viral on social medias or in the press!
